ARTIST HANDMADE PAPER
ARTWORKS
The artist makes the paper, then creates a variety of art work and fine art crafts.
Each piece of paper is created from recycled paper. A blender is used to turn the paper into a wet pulp that is strained and dried to create sheets of paper. The sheets are dyed with archival inks. When the ink is dry, the dyed paper is used to create works of art. In addition to wall hangings, the artist also covers the surfaces of furniture, creating beautiful, conversational pieces of art furniture.
